Lamine began attending FURD's coaching sessions at the U-Mix Centre in 2019 and attended for over a year before signing for the Blades aged 13.
After his family moved here from Spain when he was 11, his father rang Sheffield United to ask advice on where Lamine could play football and was advised to come to FURD.
In December 2025 he signed a professional contract up to 2029 and is now playing for United's under 18s. He's also recently made his debut for the under 21s.
He's pictured here with former Blades star Derek Geary, who is now managing SUFC's academy.
