Our friends down at Kick It Out, football’s national anti-racism campaign, are currently looking for two temporary project workers. The lucky people will assist the staff team with its preparations and delivery of the National Anti-racist Week of Action in Football, which takes place every October.
The role will involve contact with a range of football and community organisations as well as administration support to ensure that the week of action is a success.
The successful candidates will need to show:
An appreciation of the impact of racism in football and society,
Good literacy, organisation and communication skills,
Ability to work as part of a team,
Adaptability to a wide number of varying tasks,
An ability to work in a high profile fast moving environment,
Good IT skills.
It is a three-month contract from August 2004 - November 2004 and both project workers will be based at Kick It out´s London offices.
