Volunteering award for Victor

One of our trustees, Victor Mujakachi, has received an award for volunteering at the 2017 Nether Edge and Sharrow Community Star Awards ceremony. Victor also coordinates our Belonging group for refugees and asylum-seekers.

Victor said, "I feel deeply honoured to be nominated for this award, but I don't think about winning awards when I'm volunteering. It's not just about me - it's a team effort, so the award should really be for everyone who makes it possible."

Victor, who is a refugee himself, also volunteers with Assist.
