Tournament success for members of our Belonging group

Members of our Belonging group for refugees and asylum-seekers, representing Assist Sheffield, were victorious in a 5-a-side tournament at the U-Mix Centre on Saturday 14th October.

The tournament was organised by Mount Pleasant Park Football Club to raise money for the renters' union Acorn.

The Assist team beat The Squids 1-0 in the final. Belonging Group voluntary coordinator Victor Mujakachi said, "It was a brilliant day last Saturday, and our group did us really proud by winning the cup."
