Summer Programme success

This summer, Football Unites ran a summer programme for young people in the area and groups that we have been working with over the past year. The Stables building was open for daytime use everyday over the four weeks and off site activities included snow boarding, quad biking, and trips to Alton towers, the cinemas, canoeing, wall climbing and bowling. Millennium Volunteers organised two fun in the sun events as part of the summer programme which included Streetkick and a barbecue. The programme was a huge success and an initiative that we would definitely like to repeat next year.
