30 young people from the FURD Sound Kickers project took part in a 90 minute showcase performances at Tramlines, Sheffield's free music festival, on 25th July.

They showed off their musical skills to a crowd of over a thousand people, as bands performed with MCs and singers playing a variety of musical styles together, including Hip Hop, Rock, Grime, R&B, Indie and Dub-Step. This year's Tramlines was the largest ever and the fact that young people got to play on the third biggest stage at the festival is testament to the talents they have developed at the project.

Young people from all over the city meet every Thursday 5.30 - 7.30 to meet and play music together at Star Studios on Carver St. Contact moony@furd.org to get involved.
