FURD-sponsored team Sharrow United are currently in 4th place in their first season in the 12-team first division of the Regional Alliance Sunday League after three games. They've won two and lost one after their promotion last season, and won their first cup game. They are now playing in Sheffield United kit which was a donation by United as part of their commitment to building bridges with the local community, through the new Blades Enterprise Centre at the Bramall Lane ground.
