Sharrow United hit the national airwaves when they were featured on a BBC Radio 5 Live programme on the impact of Fulham´s Zesh Rehman. Reporter Filo Holland attended Sharrow´s home win over High Noon on 30 January, interviewing several of the team before the match.

On the following Monday, Manager Maqsood Akhtar took part in a studio discussion, which also included Dagenham and Redbridge´s Anwar Uddin.

Meanwhile, Sharrow have moved into third place in Division Two of the Meadowhall League, and now have a realistic chance of promotion in their first season in the new league. http://www.meadowhallsundayleague.com/
