Sheffield United stars Rob Kozluk, Michael Tonge and Gus Uhlenbeek , along with former United reserve team player and refugee from Burundi, Desbon Bushiri, showed their support for the fight against racism by speaking at the conference organised by FURD on behalf of the Football Against Racism in Europe (FARE) network on 8th and 9th February.

The players answered questions from delegates at the event, held at Bramall Lane, Sheffield, which was attended by around 80 delegates from 14 countries representing fans’ groups and anti-discrimination organisations.

Following the conference the delegates enjoyed an entertaining game against Portsmouth as the guests of Sheffield United, cheering a last-gasp penalty in the 4-3 win by the Blades.
