New: FURD Centre for Development for asylum-seekers and newly arrived refugees

 

With the aim of supporting newly arrived refugees and asylum seekers and existing clients who are awaiting decisions on asylum, we at FURD  have added a new session from 14th March 2022 at the U-Mix Centre. Please see the flyer for details. Going forward all our activities will be delivered under a new banner, FURD Centre for Development instead of Belonging Together.

We are now inviting referrals for anyone who is 16 and above to join FURD Centre for Development. This can be done through the link below. 

With the support of SAVTE and Mears Foundation, this session will start on 21st March from 10:00am till 2:00pm. The following will be the format for the session:

Registration 10:15am
Conversation club 10:30am-11:30am with breakfast.
Digital inclusion class 11:45am-1:00pm.
Football coaching 1:00-2:00 with FURD coach.
Lunch & free internet time from 2:00pm

Following the 10 sessions the participants will be given FURD certification and will be enrolled into FURD's employability project through which 1-1 support will be extended.

We have also arranged for free IT sessions from 3:00pm every Wednesday after our Belonging football, please feel free to pass on the word to your clients and service users.
