FURD's Football Development Coordinator, Desbon Bushiri, was featured on the BBC1 programme, 'Songs of Praise', broadcast on Sunday, 24th October at 4.30pm.
Desbon is filmed coaching FURD's young footballers at the Sheffield United Academy and talking about how football can bring people together from many different backgrounds through their love of the game.
Desbon, who is originally from Burundi, has recently returned from coaching displaced young people in the Sud Kivu area of the Democratic Republic of Congo, where he has founded the 'Football Between Communities' project.
Desbon also organises FURD's highly successful annual All Nations football tournament, run in conjunction with the Sheffield and Hallamshire County FA.
