FURD
The 2010 edition of 'Unity', FURD's annual newsletter, is now available. It includes a feature on Sharrow United, looking back over their ten year history, news and features about our volunteers and what they've been up to, our Sound Kickers music project, our new refugee research project, a feature on our recent Vibes & Unity event, and an update on our plans to move to a new purpose-built young people's centre next year.
On the reverse of the fold-out newsletter, to coincide with the forthcoming World Cup finals in South Africa, is a feature (in the form of a poster)about the history of South African footballers in Britain. This is a brief summary of an extensive research project we've been involved in - more details on this will follow shortly.
