FURD
Former Chelsea and Southampton centre-half Ken Monkou visited FURD at the U-Mix Centre following a chance meeting with ex-FURD Director Howard Holmes at the recent PFA Awards Dinner.
Ken is heading up an exciting quarterly publication, 'Football Life', that is next due out in August, and is planning to tell some of FURD's many stories in a future publication.
Ken met with the Belonging Group, made up of refugees and asylum-seekers living in Sheffield and Rotherham, who train at the U-Mix Centre on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
