Football Unites, Racism Divides are to mark our tenth anniversary with a Gala Evening on Friday 11th November 2005. The date is outside the FARE week of action due to the timing of Ramadan this year.

The evening will showcase the work of the project since it´s inception in November 1995, and a number of celebrity guests are being lined up. One idea the planning group are working on is a football celebrity band and DJs.

"It´s a sobering thought that Football Unites has been going for almost ten years now; but we´re proud of what the project´s achieved, and the evening represents a big thank you to everyone that´s supported our work," commented Co-ordinator Howard Holmes.
