FURD
The funeral of FURD Positive Futures player Ahmed Hassan took place on Friday 17th July, attended by hundreds of mourners, including his fellow team members.
FURD would like to place on record our sincere appreciation for the many messages of condolensce sent to the project. We will ensure that these messages are passed onto Ahmed's family, as well as some of the many pictures that have been sent by fellow participants at the Mondiali Antirazzisti.
We are in discussions with several parties, including Sheffield United FC, Kick It Out and organisers of the Mondiali Antirazzisti about ways of commemorating Ahmed's life and untimely death at the age of 18..
