Education/Youth Worker
Maternity Cover 19th May 2008-27th February 2009
Football Unites, Racism Divides Educational Trust is looking for a self-motivated person who enjoys interacting with young people and has a keen interest in raising awareness about racism.
The successful applicant will be able to deliver anti-racism and football workshops in schools, colleges, youth groups and youth offending institutions.
She/he will also work alongside the youth work team to initiate and develop anti-racism youth-led projects and will have considerable youth work experience. Relevant youth and community work qualifications are desirable, but not essential.
This post is 18.5 hours per week with the working pattern negotiable; and will last from 19th May 2008 to 27th February 2009.
Salary: £10,835 (qualified) or £9,172 (worker-in-training) for a 18.5 hour week.
