Cup Final this Thursday

FURD-backed Sharrow United Under 21 team, having secured runners-up spot in the Meadowhall Sunday League Under-21 division, are set for an exciting finale to their first season.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com🏢office" />

They have reached the final of the Meadowhall Under-21 Cup Final, and will play <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com🏢smarttags" />Dronfield Town at Chaucer School on Thursday 3^rd May, kick off 6.30.

Supporters are very welcome, admission is £1.

The team has its origins in FURD's Sunday coaching sessions in Mount Pleasant Park. As a result of attending these sessions, some of the players decided to form a 5-a-side team to test themselves competitively in a league at Goals sports centre. Following this, they then decided to take the next step which was to enter an 11-a-side team in the new Meadowhall Under-21 league.
