County FA seeks members for Inclusion Advisory Group

03 Jun 2013 / News

Sheffield & Hallamshire County Football Association (S&HCFA) is looking for people to provide advice on equality and inclusion issues. Having secured the Foundation Level Award of the UK National Equality Standard for Sport in 2012, S&HCFA is keen to move forward towards the next (Preliminary) level of the Awards process by introducing an Inclusion Advisory Group (IAG).

When formed, this group will report directly to the S&HCFA Board of Directors on all issues relating to Inclusion, Equality and Diversity.

It is intended that membership of this group will reflect the diversity within the county based on the demographics from the latest 2011 local census data and be made up of individuals and representatives of organisations that can best provide advice in relation to the participation of various diverse communities in local football.

S&HCFA are now looking to recruit members of the group - by application. Please note that the posts are available to volunteers only (no salary is available).

Closing date for applications is 5pm on Friday 14th June 2013.
