There are still places available for the FURD interim conference: Football – A shared sense of belonging? on Friday 9th September from 10am-4pm at The Circle, 33 Rockingham Lane, Sheffield S1 4FW.
This event is part of a three year research project designed to increase our understanding about how cultural activities, such as football and sport more widely, can benefit new arrivals to this country in achieving a sense of mutual belonging.
It is free of charge and we welcome attendance from anyone who wants to learn more about these issues or feel they have something to contribute.
