FURD's 'Stoppage Time' project is looking for women and girls in  the Sheffield and Rotherham area who'd like to share their experiences of football, whether good or bad, past or present, in writing.

The project is researching and celebrating the history and present experiences of women in football in the area to mark the centenary of the FA's 50 year ban on women's football in 1921 and the build up to the Women's Euros in July 2022, for which Sheffield and Rotherham are two of the host cities.

Contributions can be in any written form, such as prose, poetry or sketches, but to a maximum of 442 words.

We'd also love to hear from anyone who'd like to share their story verbally.

Entries may be published online or in print.

To share your story or for further information, please email stoppagetime@furd.org.
