St Wilfrid’s are raising money to build a 50 bed residential unit for homeless and vulnerable people, just down the road from the U-Mix Centre. Over the years they have formed a great relationship with Tony Currie, ex England International and Sheffield United footballer and he in turn is a great ambassador for St Wilfrid’s.
On Friday 12 July St Wilfs are holding a Charity Evening with Tony Currie at the Platinum Suite, Bramall Lane 7.00 for 7.30pm, in aid of the residential. The event which includes a pie and pea supper will feature film of Tony’s illustrious career, an interview and questions and answer session. The cost of the evening will be £20 a ticket or £200 for a table of ten people.
A ten-person table for the event costs £200, or £20 as an individual.
