The eleventh All Nations Football Festival on Sunday 23rd June ended in victory for the African Dream Team – the first ever winners back in 2003. The ADT beat Algeria 1-0 in the final of the first All Nations tournament to take place at the U-Mix Centre, Sheffield.

Sixteen teams competed in the 6-a-side tournament, which aims to encourage players from refugee and asylum-seeking backgrounds to take up both formal and informal opportunities to participate in football.

The tournament is a joint initiative between Football Unites, Racism Divides and Sheffield & Hallamshire County Football Association, and the winners’ trophy was presented by Councillor Denise Fox.
