FURD
The story of one woman who defied tribal custom and fought for her freedom in the West. The woman, from Togo, Africa, fled in fear from the prospect of a forced marriage and circumcision. She sought asylum in the US but was stripped, shackled and imprisoned by the Immigration and Naturalization Service. Eventually she was granted asylum.
