55 minute documentary shown on 11/10/00 as part of Channel 4's 'Untold' Black History season. Looks at the separation from family, friends and country, of babies and young children who were born in England from relationships during the 2nd World War between white English women and black American servicemen. It highlights the attitudes of the time, their problems and subsequent years of searching for roots and missing relatives.
