So close for Sharrow

Sharrow United came agonisingly close to reaching the Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA Senior Cup final on Sunday. They played out a two hour stalemate with the cup holders Arbourthorne EA and with the score still at 0-0 after extra time, it all came down to penalties. The holders edged it 5-4 and will meet AFP FC in the final at Bramall Lane on 5th May. Sharrow are currently in 5th place in the ten team Meadowhall Premier League.
