FURD prodigy plays for England

Sheffield United's 18-year-old defender Kyle Walker made his debut for England under-19s in their friendly against Spain in Bournemouth on Tuesday 10th February. He was a late addition to the squad and came on as a substitute, replacing Kieran Trippier for the last 20 minutes.

Unfortunately Spain were 3-0 winners, but FURD is proud of the rapid progress being made by the local boy from Sharrow in Sheffield who was first recommended to Sheffield United by FURD coaches back in 1999, having made his first team debut in the FA Cup third round tie against Leyton Orient in January 2009.
