Congratulations to Emma for securing employment at Kids Arts Academy.
Emma, 23, has been on the Talent Match Programme at Football Unites Racism Divides since October 2015, working with her coach Saudat and the Employers' Forum; she managed to get a job at the Kids Arts Academy on a 6 months Wage Fund placement as a Creative Activities Development Administrator. Hanna Pearson, the owner of Kids Arts Academy, has been really pleased with Emma's progress as she is hard working and has shown dedication when working with the children at the afterschool clubs they put on.
In May 2016, Emma's Wage Fund Placement ended but Hanna decided to keep her on as permanent staff. Emma said, "I don't think I would have got this job if it wasn't for the support from Talent Match. I'm happy to have had the help in securing the role at the Kids Art Academy".
If you are 18-24 and serious about getting into employment or a training course but don't know where to start then please contact Saudat (Talent Match coach) on 0114 2589601 or email saudat@furd.org to register your interest.
