New support programme for unemployed young people

FURD is pleased to be starting a new service offering support to young people not in employment, education or training. We are one of three delivery partners in Sheffield delivering the national Talent Match programme.

Talent Match is a free service funded by the Big Lottery helping young people to gain the skills and confidence needed to get a job or start their own business. We can provide individual, tailored support for up to 30 people gain paid work experience, improve their performance at job interviews, recognise and promote the skills they have and develop new ones.

If you are, or know someone who is, aged 18-24, unemployed for over a year and not in training or education, we want to hear from you. Contact Sajaad Rauf at FURD for more details.
